Throne Coveting: The Steelo’ Art Chair

by Freddy Tran Nager, Founder of Atomic Tango + Guy Who Spends Too Much Of His Life Sitting…

As I sit here in my functional office chair awaiting the final season of Game Of Thrones, I find myself coveting a new throne of my own…

No, not the one on GoT that has kingdoms warring over it. That looks like it would hurt to sit on.

Game Of Thrones Iron Throne

The GoT Iron Throne looks like it would cost an arm and a leg… and other assorted body parts (photo via HBO).

Rather, I’m craving the Steelo’ Art SG219 (pictured at top), designed and manufactured by Steelography in Hindustan. The company custom-makes furniture and metal artwork based on photos provided by customers. How cool is that?

And I won’t have to vanquish any armies or dragons to claim the Steelo’ Art throne. Indeed, at only $290, it won’t cost me a king’s ransom, either. The only catch: Steelography is a wholesale-only business, and I would have to order a minimum 10 chairs.

“Honey, I need a bigger office…”

That is, unless I can find 9 other throne seekers who will go in on me with this. Combine forces, anyone?
